Simple solution to most ppls tears! CCP take note 
On most Clans/ Corps/ e.t.c for any game... when an admin wants to change something they add a "poll" to the website. each logged in player gets to choose what check box they want. At the end it shows 45% wanted "blah" and 35% wanted "bleh", and 20% of jack ass's wanted "meh"
VERY VERY simple to implement, gezz ill even do it for you for free!!
PS i think learning skills should be removed, but then ppl stats whould go a bit wonky, i built my Toon to have 22perception 18 memory e.t.c but after playing relised i needed social to 18, so trained in that learning skill to get it to what i needed
......... am waiting for the flaming guys, so do your worst!

Proof ?? u need Proof? try reading the thread above, thats all the proof you should need, if that isnt enough read the other threads, if that still dosent provide proof enough for you, then i dont know what else to show you. most ppl are not happy with what is being fixed and what isnt!

Exactualy my point.... Get rid of CSM's and implement polls, much easier! if you have proof to prove otherwise, show me
who wants to read Countless CSM's stupid posts like i will do this and that i am a accountant so i know X, or i am prime minister so have good ppl skills........ meh ADD A POLL

I love the way that the little message in the login screen says "Extended downtime on June 29th 2010 for deployment of the Tyrannis 1.0.2 patch. Downtime will start at 11:00 UTC and is expected to be completed at 14:30 UTC."
even though before it said exactualy the same thing only 13:30, they change it as if ppl will doubt that they read it right in the first place. why not say oups again will be delayed by a further 1 hr (proubaly 7)

I'm sure CCP does it's best to keep things running and will provide us a quality game experience now and future.
You all should be thankful that you get constant upgrades and patches to keep things running smoothly. Of course there is a lot still to be fixed and I'm sure CCP knows what they are doing and when.
Try to be little bit more supportive towards CCP.
Period.
why should we, the whole reason this patch is being deployed is because of epic **** up last week, then they do it again, besides most ppl want to use CCP products to play, not work on them. So how about you shut up

Having said that, if the shoe were on the other foot, do you think CCP would be as forgiving as the playerbase?
For example, we all know that we are scheduled to pay once per month to be able to log in and play EvE. This day is something that can be planned for, predicted, and calculated by. So what would happen if you were an hour late on that payment? Two hours? But you sent an email updating CCP that the payment would be an hour late. Then two hours?
I'm sure they would still let you log in. Really.

if you go to the patch page it says the latest patch is actualy 2 patches old  can they not even update they website correctly? even though it says right next to the drop down box of patches the current patch is one later than the current patch

i work as a laptop engineer, we have a 4hr fix DEADLINE this means that if we go over it, company gets fined. simple, dont give out times you cant hold yah self to, why not say DT will commence at 11:00am FULL STOP not it will be back at 13:30 then 14:30 then 15:30, how many companys whould stay in bussiness??

Question for those demanding compo from CCP for lost game time
On a normal weekday majority of the time Tranquility is online well within the reported hour long DT, giving me in effect "Free" game time, now how would you feel at end of year if CCP billed you for all your "Free" game time? Maybe offsetting the bill with the "Stolen" game time from you? Im pretty sure you would still owe CCP?
And yes i understand it Poor Customer Service etc..... but i dont see many threads thanking them when servers are up early on routine DT
yes but when they state 1hr DT you plan around that, if it comes up earlier, then what are ppl surposed to do? rush and get back online?? statement FLAWED
